333 Sales agency

A further means of raising production finance is to enter into a sales agency arrangement pursuant to which a minimum guarantee is payable to the producer by the sales agent in return for having the right to represent the producer and negotiate distribution agreements throughout the world. The guarantee payable by a sales agent to a producer will be payable on signature or delivery or on other agreed dates. In return for the guarantee, the agent will receive the sole and exclusive right to sell the film throughout the world or in certain pre-specified major territories. Out
