315 Tax credit finance

Film tax relief was introduced in the United Kingdom in 2007 to replace the tax relief previously given to support the film industry. The scope of the relief was extended in April 2013 when animation tax relief and high-end television tax relief were introduced and is due to be extended again following state aid approval being given in March 2014 by the European Commission in relation to the development of video games.
