Production companies are also required to observe the provisions of the health and safety legislation which oblige each production company to conduct its business in such a way as to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare at work of all of its employees1 and that persons not in its employment who may be affected thereby are not exposed to risks to their health or safety2.
