In circumstances where the composer is bound by an existing publishing (or composer’s) agreement, the production company will acquire direct from the publisher the right to use the music in timed relation to and synchronisation with the film, and will obtain an undertaking direct from the composer to render the composing and post production services of the composer to the production company.
