281 Screenplay

The screenplay for a feature film will generally be between 90 and 150 pages in length, following a layout and format which are established in the industry. A screenplay is created in stages. After delivery by the writer of the first draft the producer will have a reading period of normally up to 6 weeks, during which he will be free to consider the material and discuss it with the director and the writer. At the end of the reading period the writer may be required by the producer to rewrite the first draft of the screenplay and
