250 Unauthorised modification of computer material

A person is guilty of an offence if they do an unauthorised act in relation to a computer and at the time they do the act they know that it is unauthorised and they either intend by doing the act to impair the operation of any computer or to prevent or hinder access to any program or data in any computer, or impair the operation of any such program or reliability of any such operation, or are reckless as to whether the act will do any of such things1.
