A person commits an offence if without ‘sufficient consent’ they make for sale or hire a recording which is an illicit recording and which they know or have reason to believe is an illicit recording, or if they import such a recording into the United Kingdom otherwise than for their private and domestic use, or if they possess such a recording in the course of business with a view to committing an infringing act, or if in the course of a business they sell or let such a recording for sale or
