198.2 Copyright and Duration of Rights in Performances Regulations 2013

The Copyright and Duration of Rights in Performances Regulations 2013 apply to all performances existing as at 1 November 2013 which were protected performances as well as to existing performances which qualify for protection after such date and to performances taking place after that date1.

Any extended performance rights and any ‘new rights’ are exercisable from 1 November 2013 by the performer or if the performer has died, by the person appointed pursuant to the terms of their will or, if none their personal representatives2. Any remuneration or damages received in
