198 Extended and revived rights in performances

198.1 Duration of Copyright and Rights in Performances Regulations 1995

Rights in relation to performances have been extended and revised on two separate occasions, as has been the case with rights of copyright. The first extensions and revivals were enacted pursuant to the Duration of Copyright and Rights in Performances Regulations 1995 which took effect from 1 January 1996. The second extension (but not revival) is of more recent and limited effect, applying only to performances contained in sound recordings, and was effected pursuant to the Copyright and Duration of Rights in Performances Regulations
