173 Exceptions to right to be identified

The right to be identified as author or director does not apply to or in relation to the following:

  1. 173.1

        computer programs1;

  2. 173.2

        typeface designs2;

  3. 173.3

        computer-generated works3;

  4. 173.4

        anything done by or with the copyright owner’s authority where copyright in the work originally vested in the author’s employer as being a work produced in the course of employment4;

  5. 173.5

        anything done by or with the copyright owner’s authority where copyright in the work originally vested in the director’s employer as being the person treated as author of the film5;

  6. 173.6

        any work
