141.1 Duration of Copyright and Rights in Performances Regulations 1995

The Duration of Copyright and Rights in Performances Regulations 1995 also had the effect of reviving copyrights which had previously lapsed.

Where the author of a literary, dramatic, musical or artistic work died more than 50 years but less than 70 years before the Duration of Copyright and Rights in Performances Regulations 1995 came into effect, the copyright in their works will have lapsed but was revived by the Regulations provided that the work was at 1 July 1995 protected in an EEA member state.
