242 Forms of notice and advertisement

Once the claim has been submitted in the prescribed form, the judge or registrar1 then makes an order on the claim form and, following this, the form of notice of the meetings to be sent to members and creditors is settled in chambers, as are any necessary newspaper advertisements of the scheme which are to be published if individual notices may not reach all the persons concerned2. A statement which explains the effect of the scheme must be sent with the notice of the meetings to each member and creditor. The statement should set
