214 Serving the prescribed notice under Section 979

An offeror who wishes to give notice to buy out a minority shareholder under Section 979 of the Companies Act 2006 must do so in the prescribed manner and no later than the last day of the period of three months beginning with the day after the last day on which the offer can be accepted1. If the offer is not governed by rules under Section 943(1), the deadline for giving notice may be brought forward to the end of the period of six months beginning with the date of the offer,
