209.2 Withdrawal of acceptances

Target shareholders who have accepted an offer are entitled to withdraw their acceptances of the offer as from the date 21 days after the first closing date (usually Day 42), provided the offer has not become or been declared unconditional as to acceptances by that date1. Accepting shareholders continue to be entitled to withdraw until the earlier of2:

  1. 209.2.1

        the offer becoming or being declared unconditional as to acceptances; and

  2. 209.2.2

        the final time for lodgement of acceptances which can be taken into account in accordance with the ‘Day 60’ rule.
