204 Social media, advertisements and campaigns

204.1 Social media

Social media must not be used by or on behalf of an offeror or the target company to publish information relating to an offer or a party to an offer, other than for the publication of:

  1. 204.1.1

        the full text of an announcement which has been published in accordance with the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers (City Code) rule 30.1(a);

  2. 204.1.2

        the full text of a document which has been published on a website in accordance with the relevant provisions of the
