13 Classes of shares and variation of class rights

In many companies, some of the shareholders have been issued with different classes of shares to which class rights1 have been attached in the articles. A reorganisation of the company may involve the alteration of these class rights, in which case care must be taken to follow the regime set out in Section 630 of the Companies Act 20062.
