9 Removal from office

A company may remove a director from office, before the expiration of his period of office by ordinary resolution at a meeting, notwithstanding anything in any agreement between the company and the director1.

Special notice must be given of any resolution to remove a director under this provision or to appoint somebody instead of a removed director at the same meeting at which he is removed2.
