87 Method of giving notice

A company may give notice of a general meeting, in hard copy or electronic form, or by means of a website1. It may give notice partly by one of these means and partly by another.

Where a company opts for the website method, it must notify the member of the presence of the notice on the website, stating that the notification concerns a notice of a company meeting and specifying the place, date and time of that meeting; in the case of a public company, the notification must state whether the meeting will
