86 Notice period

86.1 General rules

A private company must give notice of at least 14 days when calling a general meeting1. The same rule applies to a general meeting called by a public company unless the meeting is an annual general meeting when at least 21 days’ notice must be given2. In either case, the company’s articles may require a longer period of notice3.
