186 Ways of altering share capital

A limited company having a share capital may not alter its share capital except in the following ways1:

  1. 186.1

        increasing its share capital through the allotment of new shares;

  2. 186.2

        reducing its share capital;

  3. 186.3

        sub-dividing or consolidating all or any of its share capital;

  4. 186.4

        reconverting stock into shares in accordance; or

  5. 186.5

        redenominating all or any of its shares.
