169.1 Company’s duties on allotment of shares

The Companies Act 2006 contains various provisions requiring a company to complete and deliver share certificates within certain time limits. Within two months after allotting any of its shares other than to a financial institution, a company must complete the relevant share certificates and have them ready for delivery unless the conditions of issue of the shares provide otherwise or the company has issued a share warrant in respect of the shares following allotment1.
