155 Rights issues

A company may consider making a rights issues arise where it wishes to increase its share capital. It will involve the company offering shares to existing shareholders pro rata to their existing holdings (whether or not the company is at that time subject to the pre-emption provisions in the Companies Act 2006 Sections 560–577)1.
