110 Classes of shares

The capital structure of a company often comprises different classes of shares1. The rights attaching to a particular type of share (but not to shareholders generally) may be termed class rights and they may be created by the articles of association2, the terms of a particular share issue, a special resolution of the general meeting, or a shareholder agreement3.
