103 Annual general meeting

103.1 Public company

A private company is under no obligation to hold an annual general meeting, unless it is also a traded company1. A public company is required to hold an annual general meeting which must be held within six months of its financial year-end2. Where the members of a public company are entitled to request, and do request, the circulation of resolutions for the annual general meeting, they are not required to cover the costs
