100 Electronic communication

The Companies Act 2006 contains provisions to facilitate the electronic communication of documents and information relating to proxies. Where a company has given an electronic address1 in a proxy instrument sent out by the company in relation to a meeting, or in an invitation to appoint a proxy issued by the company in relation to the meeting, it is deemed to have agreed that any document2 or information relating to proxies for that meeting may be sent by electronic means to that address3.
