76 Apportionment under the Compulsory Purchase Act 1965

The committee of commoners may enter into an agreement with the acquiring authority as to the compensation to be paid for the extinction of all commonable and other rights, and all related matters1. It may receive the compensation and the receipt of the committee or any three of its members is an effectual discharge2. If the committee and the acquiring authority fail to agree, the amount of compensation is determined, as in other cases of disputed compensation, by the Upper Tribunal3.
