75 Committee of commoners

The compensation paid for commonable1 and other rights in or over common land2, and also the compensation for the soil where the right to the soil belongs to the graziers3, is determined, if possible, by agreement between the acquiring authority and a committee of commoners appointed for the purpose4. In order to appoint this committee, a meeting is convened by the acquiring authority of the parties entitled to commonable or other rights at some convenient place in the neighbourhood of the land5.
