74 Compensation to commoners

The main provisions relating to the application of compensation money for the commoners are set out in the Compulsory Purchase Act 19651. These provisions and the other provisions in the Compulsory Purchase Act 1965 which relate to common land have effect subject to the compensation provisions of the Inclosure Act 18522, the Inclosure Act 18543 and the Commonable Rights Compensation Act 18824. These various methods are briefly dealt with below.
