60 Local Acts

The Secretary of State1 may by order amend any local or personal Act, passed before the Commons Act 2006, which provides for them to consent to works on common land2. The Secretary of State may also by order amend any Act made under the Commons Act 1876 confirming a provisional order of the Inclosure Commissioners which contains provision for that authority to consent to works on land to which the Act applies3. The purpose for which the powers may be exercised is to enable any existing consent criteria and procedures for works
