49 Metropolitan commons

The Metropolitan Commons Acts 1866 to 1898 apply to land which was situate within the Metropolitan Police District, as defined at the date of the passing of the 1866 Act1.In the Metropolitan Commons Acts, ‘common’ means land subject on 10 August 1866 to any right of common and any land subject to be inclosed under the provisions of the Inclosure Act 1845.
