42 Contents of schemesThe Commons Act 1899 gives, to either the person entitled, as lord of the manor or otherwise, to the soil of the common, or the persons representing at least one-third in value of such interests in the common as are affected, a right to veto the scheme1.Subject to this veto, a scheme under the 1899 Act may contain any of the statutory provisions in the Commons Act 1876 Section 7 for the benefit of the neighbourhood2.
