39 Commons management associations

On some commons, management associations1 have been set up to regulate activities on the common. It is likely that some commons will continue to be governed by these associations and there will be no demand for the establishment of a commons council. It may be in some areas those interested in the common will still prefer to establish their own associations rather than make an application to the Secretary of State (or the Welsh Ministers) for an order for a commons council.
