31 Registration of town and village greens in the pilot areas

The Commons Registration (England) Regulations 2014 apply in the seven original pilot areas1and the two 2014 pilot authorities2. They provide that an application to the register of town or village greens must be made in writing on a form provided by the Secretary of State and signed by the applicant or his representative3.

An application for the registration of a town or village green must include evidence that Section 15, (3) or (4) of the Commons Act 2006 applies to the land. This will mean that evidence relating to the
