24.4 Town or village green wrongly registered as common land

Where land has been wrongly registered as common land, which should have been registered as a town or village green, any person may apply by a date which is to be specified in regulations, to remove the land from the common land register and to register it in the register of town and village greens1.

The commons registration authority may also of its own initiative make and publish, by a date to be specified in regulations, a proposal to remove the land from the commons register and register
