23 Corrections

Commons registration authorities are given power to amend registers for specified purposes either on their own initiative or on receiving an application from any person1. Regulations may make further provision as to the criteria to be applied in determining applications or proposals for amendments2.

The specified purposes for amending the registers are3:

  1. 23.1

        correcting a mistake made by a commons registration authority in making or amending an entry in the register;

  2. 23.2

        correcting any other mistake where the amendment would not affect4:

    1. 23.2.1

          the extent of any land registered as common land or as a town or village green,
