2 Land to which the Commons Act 2006 applies

The registration provisions in the Commons Act 2006 Part 1 will apply to all land in England and Wales with the exception of the New Forest, Epping Forest and the Forest of Dean1. Open land in the Forest of Dean is owned by the Crown who asserts that it is not common land. The New Forest and Epping Forest are already regulated under other Acts2.

If there is any question whether any land is part of those forests, the matter must be referred
