98 Commonhold community statement Part 4: rules of the commonhold

The rules of the commonhold are contained in Part 4 of the commonhold community statement1.

The rules benefit, and are binding on, the commonhold association and the unit-holders. ‘Unit-holder’ is defined as a person entitled to be registered at the Land Registry as the proprietor of a unit. Except where otherwise provided, where there are joint unit-holders of a unit, each of them separately, and all of them together, benefit from and are bound by the rules2.

Where the rules say so, they also benefit, and are binding on tenants of units3.
