4: MEMBERSHIP AND GENERAL MEETINGS

87 Membership

Membership of a commonhold association is regulated by the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002. No one may become a member of a commonhold association except as provided by the Act1.

Until the land specified in the articles of the commonhold association has been registered as commonhold, the only members of the association will be the subscribers to the memorandum2.

During any transitional period, the members will be the subscribers, and any person who is for the time being the developer of all or part of the commonhold land is also entitled to be entered in
