85 Commonhold association: articles

The form and content of the articles of a commonhold association are prescribed by statute and by regulations. The articles of a commonhold association must contain all the prescribed provisions, and the regulations treat the prescribed provisions as having effect whether or not they are adopted as the articles of the association1.

The provisions of the Companies Act 2006 which apply to the form of the articles of a company limited by guarantee do not apply to a commonhold association2. Some of the provisions of the prescribed form may be varied as follows:
