55 The transferee

A commonhold unit may be transferred to an incoming unit-holder1, and most transfers of commonhold units will no doubt be to new unit-holders. A unit may also be transferred to the commonhold association2, and may either remain as a unit of which the association becomes the unit-holder or may become part of the common parts3. A unit may also be transferred to a transferee outside the commonhold who is not an incoming unit-holder, with the intention that the unit will cease to be part of the commonhold.
