2: APPLICATION TO REGISTER LAND AS COMMONHOLD

18 The conditions to be met for land to be commonhold

For land to be commonhold, certain conditions must be fulfilled which embody the essential qualities of commonhold outlined in Paragraph 12 [33] above. These conditions are1:

  1. 18.1

        the land must be freehold2;

  2. 18.2

        the land may include more than one parcel of land, and the parcels do not have to adjoin one another3;

  3. 18.3

        the freehold estate in the land must be registered as a freehold estate in commonhold land4;
