118 Ombudsman scheme

Regulations may provide that a commonhold association must be a member of an approved ombudsman scheme. An approved ombudsman scheme is a scheme which meets the statutory criteria and is approved by the Lord Chancellor. If the association fails to join an approved scheme, a unit-holder or tenant of a unit may apply to the High Court for an order requiring the directors to do so1.
