9 When writing must be used

  1. 9.1

        Contracts for sale or disposition of land: Contracts for the sale or disposition of interests in land can only be made in writing. The contract must be signed by (or on behalf of) each party to the contract1.

  2. 9.2

        Creation or disposition of land: No interest in land can be created or disposed of except in writing and signed by the person (or his agent) creating or conveying the same (or by will or by operation of law)2.
