(c) Definitions

43 General1

A definitions clause sets out the meaning of certain words and phrases used in the body of the agreement. The use of definitions allows for consistency of meaning of words and phrases.

  1. 43.1

        Each defined word should be capitalised and used in its capitalised form in the agreement.

  2. 43.2

        Each definition should be considered carefully, so that it means exactly what the party wishes it to mean.
