33 Practice points for deeds

  1. 33.1

        The ‘executed as a deed’ clause and the signature block should be kept together on one page, with no part of either being split over two pages. Where there are several signature blocks, there should be a break at a logical place.

  2. 33.2

        A deed that has wording to allow it to be dated as at the commencement of the document does not need to have the date repeated in the ‘executed as a deed’ clause and/or the signature block.

  3. 33.3
