273 When it is not required to indicate the price

The following are the main situations when it is not necessary to indicate the selling price of goods:

  1. 273.1

        where goods are provided in the course of the provision of a service1;

  2. 273.2

        in sales by auction or sales of works of art or antiques2;

  3. 273.3

        in the case of products sold from bulk3; or

  4. 273.4

        in an advertisement for a product4.

It is not necessary to display an indication of the selling price near to any item of jewellery, precious metal
