272 When it is required to indicate the price under the Price Marking Order 2004

Where goods are offered for sale, the trader1 must indicate the selling price of the goods2, subject to the following requirements:

  1. 272.1

        The indication of the selling price must be:

    1. 272.1.1

          unambiguous, easily identifiable and clearly legible;

    2. 272.1.2

          in proximity to the product; or (in the case of distance contracts and advertisements) a visual or written description of the product; and

    3. 272.1.3

          placed so as to be available to consumers without the consumer needing to seek assistance from the trader or someone on his behalf
