268.2 Consequences for ancillary contracts

If a consumer exercises a right to cancel within the cancellation period, any ancillary contracts are also automatically terminated without any costs for the consumer1, save for:

  1. 268.2.1

        any costs of delivery over and above the least expensive common and generally accepted type of delivery the trader provides2;

  2. 268.2.2

        where the handling of the goods by the consumer has caused a diminution in their value3;

  3. 268.2.3

        costs of returning goods (where the consumer has the responsibility for returning them)4; and

  4. 268.2.4
