266.2 Cost of returning the goods

When the consumer has the responsibility for sending the goods back, she must pay the direct costs of doing so. However, the consumer does not need to pay such costs where:

  1. 266.2.1

        the trader has agreed to do so1; or

  2. 266.2.2

        the trader failed to provide the required information at the correct time about the consumer being responsible for the costs of returning the goods2.
