259 Situations when the right to cancel ceases to apply

Following a supply of goods a consumer will lose the right to cancel:

  1. 259.1

        where goods are unsealed after delivery, where they are supplied sealed and they are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons1;

  2. 259.2

        where audio recordings, video recordings or computer software are unsealed after delivery, where such items are supplied sealed2; and

  3. 259.3

        where goods become mixed inseparably (according to their nature) with other items after the delivery of the goods3.
